Posterous and Domain Names

I saw Clementine's Posterous site at http://reflectionof.me/ and had forgotten about the ability to use domain names here in Posterous (see Setting Up Custom Domains). For branding purposes, I wonder if it will be better to register a completely new domain name, or to create a subdomain off an existing/old domain name.

In the case of Clementine, that's a full domain name and not a subdomain (i.e., http://posterous.reflectionof.me)

Since I already have manuelviloria.com, should I create posterous.manuelviloria.com or just stick with the existing manuelviloria.posterous.com? Ah, we'll see...

Guy Kawasaki has HolyKaw.com ("For everything that's slightly less than a blog post but slightly more than a tweet.")

It is quite tempting... I'll probably wait for the Premium version, though. It's so hard to invest time in a free blogging service, and then have all that content disappear if something happens to that free service's business model in the future.
