A Gathering Storm
Typhoon Emong has reached northern Philippines, and the rains are being dumped all the way here in Metro Manila. Plus, I heard that Manny Pacquiao will be arriving early tomorrow morning in spite of the DOH's request that he postpone his return to Manila to Tuesday next week.
Apparently, Manny Pacquiao and company went to LA after the Pacquiao-Hatton boxing bout. And given the reports of the first human-to-human transmission of H1N1 (swine flu) case in LA, it would've been more prudent to wait around 5 days.
Anyway, here's hoping everyone stays healthy...
