Internet Marketing Philippines

A lot of my fellow Pinoys are asking about internet marketing, because
they are interested in learning how to harness this untapped (at least
as far as some people are concerned) channel.

So over the past few weeks, I've responded via email. After a while,
however, some of the questions started sounding similar, and I ended
up just copy/pasting old emails.

Not every efficient, right?

That's why I'm now happy to present to you your free internet
marketing tutorial. It's easy to follow, and the most technical thing
you will do is send and receive email. Simple, right?

You'll find the free tutorial at

Posterous and Autoposting

Here are my preferred autoposting settings in Posterous:

1. Autopost photos and videos to Facebook.
2. Autopost to Twitter.

But I'll be emailing mostly to posterous@posterous.com because
I don't want to fill my Twitter stream with links to Posterous blog
posts.

I guess you can only autopost so much, because the people who follow
you in Twitter may have different needs compared with those who follow
you in FB (or even in Posterous).

Trying Out Post.ly

Chanced upon a web article that mentioned Post.ly, so I decided to
give it a try (since I'm also publishing in Posterous.com)

This got me exploring the other pages of Posterous, and I saw that I
can automatically post to other places such as Facebook, Twitter, and
even Friendfeed.

I'll have to think this through, though, because there are current
Friendfeed settings that autopost to either FB or Twitter. I don't
want duplicate postings.

Should I just rely on Posterous to do the autopostings, and then just
deactivate the ones I've set in FF or Twitter?

One thing I like about the Twitter-Facebook connection is that I can
send an SMS message (via Gladlycast) to Twitter, and it will in effect
also update my Facebook status. If I rely on Posterous.com's autopost
everywhere and switch off Twitter->Facebook, how do I easily send
updates via SMS text?

Ah, decision, decisions... :-)

(tag: test)

Now we're testing what happens when the subject line simply contains (tag: test)

In the previous test, we had more words in the subject line. The
entire subject line then appeared as the title of the blog post here
in Posterous. I wonder if there's a way to send an email, and have the
blog post correctly show the real post title...

...and be correctly tagged also in one go.
